Digital Citizenship matters because we have to know how to communicate with each other respectfully, responsibly, and safely. The internet can be a dangerous place. We also have to be respectful towards others' work. It is important to tell where you got your information and pictures from when doing a research project or writing a paper, or when using something that isn't yours.
